Face Shield FLEX from Colorescience is an advanced mineral sunscreen that combines effective sun protection with beautiful, natural color coverage. The lightweight and moisturizing formula adapts to skin tone, evens out the skin, and provides natural medium coverage, making it ideal as both sun protection and as part of your daily makeup routine.

The innovative formulation provides broad-spectrum protection against UVA and UVB rays, while also helping to defend the skin against modern environmental aggressors such as blue light from screens, pollution, and infrared radiation. The combination of mineral filters and powerful antioxidants helps protect the skin from oxidative stress, which can otherwise accelerate signs of premature skin aging.

Face Shield FLEX is enriched with moisturizing and nourishing ingredients that help keep the skin comfortable, balanced, and healthy throughout the day. The intelligent color technology contains iron oxide pigments, which are activated upon contact with the fingertips. I prefer a look with more opaque color. Can I achieve that with this product?

Yes. Sunforgettable® Total Protection™ Face Shield Flex can be applied in layers to achieve a more covering effect. After applying the first coat, wait approximately 1 minute before applying one or two more coats to achieve desired coverage. Face Shield Flex also lays beautifully under liquid or powder foundation.

Do I need to use moisturizer first? / Does this replace my moisturizer?

Although Sunforgettable® Total Protection™ Face Shield Flex SPF 50 is formulated with ingredients that help hydrate and nourish the skin, it is best applied to moisturized skin, especially for those with dry or sensitive skin.

UVA protection rating: PA++++

What does that mean?
The PA rating only measures protection against UVA rays and ranges from PA+ to PA++++. UVA rays are the so-called "aging rays".

UVB protection rating: SPF50

What does that mean?
The SPF rating only measures protection against UVB rays. UVB rays are the so-called "sunburn rays".
