Triple Wave Therapy Blanket treatment

Red and near-infrared light around the body.

At Obsido Studio, we use the Triple Wave Therapy Blanket – a flexible LED light blanket that surrounds a large part of the body with light from both above and below. The blanket combines three wavelengths, each with its own focus:

660 nm – skin appearance

• Used with a focus on skin elasticity and structure.
• Has been studied in connection with collagen turnover and visible fine lines.
• Can support blood circulation in the illuminated area.

850 nm – muscles and recovery

• Generally penetrates deeper through tissue than visible red light.
• Used with a focus on tired and strained muscles.
• Has been studied in connection with recovery, soreness, and local blood circulation.

940 nm – the deeper supplement

• Is near-infrared light with a different absorption profile than 850 nm.
• Supplements the other two wavelengths and provides a broader light spectrum.
• Used with a focus on circulation and the tissue's reaction to light.

The effect depends not only on the wavelength, but also on the device, light intensity, dose, and frequency of treatment. The documentation for 940 nm in cosmetic LED blankets is less extensive than for 660 and 850 nm.

How to book

As a standalone treatment: 15 minutes for DKK 350 or 30 minutes for DKK 450.

As an add-on: Select the light blanket when booking the facial or body treatment you desire.

The treatment is non-invasive. Please inform us before your appointment about any medication, light sensitivity, skin conditions, pregnancy, implants, and past or current cancer.
